MAAC’s Animation Filmmaking Program offers a comprehensive understanding of both the artistic and technical sides of animation. MAAC 24FPS -2023
A celebration of creativity and artistic talents
A true cinematic extravaganza was the 20th edition of MAAC 24FPS. Held at the Sahara Star Hotel in Mumbai, this big event attracted over 1800 people from all around India and beyond, with over 6000 students competing in over 35 categories. In a number of categories, students and seasoned business professionals received recognition for their outstanding efforts and contributions to the media and entertainment sector.
Famous TV actress Urvashi Dholakia, who won the “TV Titan Achievement Award,” enthralled the audience in the special “Movers and Shakers” category. ‘Outstanding Young Talent 2023 in Television’ went to Muskan Bamne, while ‘Reality Icon of the Year’ went to Shiv Thakre. The ‘Popular Content Creator Comic 2023’ title went to RJ Princy Parikh, while Ayush Mehra received recognition for his ‘Breakthrough Performance’ in the movie Kacche Limbu. Ourange Juice Gang received the ‘Best Collective of Creators Award – Social Media,’ while Manisha Rani was recognized as the ‘Most Popular Entertainer of the Year, 2023.’

Celebrating and honoring creativity
MAAC 24FPS acknowledged and celebrated creativity at the 24FPS International Animation Awards, which were in their 19th year. The event, which was hosted by Raja Mukherjee and Himanshi Chatwani, brought together well-known personalities from the media and entertainment sectors to honor outstanding talent from throughout the globe. This spectacular event, which took place at the Sahara Star in Mumbai, drew over 1200 attendees from all over the nation and included over 5000 entries in 35 categories.

A star-studded night where talents and awards galore
With more than 350 industry executives, professionals, students, and instructors in attendance, MAAC 24FPS, one of the most renowned animation awards, came to a spectacular close. More than 1200 independent entries from more than 75 nations, including the USA, France, Spain, and the UK, were featured in the 17th edition of the International Animation Awards. Additionally, MAAC students from all over India submitted over 3500 creative works in a variety of categories. These outstanding pieces enthralled the audience and made it difficult for the jury to choose the winners.
Prominent figures from the media and entertainment sectors attended the star-studded event, including Bollywood and television star Amit Behl and Marathi actress Tejaswini Pandit. A prestigious jury panel added even more glitz to the glitzy evening, which was hosted by RJ Anurag Pandey, also known as Picture Pandey. The event benefited from the experience of senior personnel of top production companies and studios, including DNEG, Technicolor, the Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, and YFX (a branch of Yash Raj Films).
