National Students’ Meet (NSM)

Every year, MAAC organizes the National Students’ Meet (NSM), a four-day event that takes place in scenic places like Goa and the Rann of Kutch. Film fans, VFX experts, and animation enthusiasts eagerly await the event, which attracts students from different MAAC centers to participate.
The National Students’ Meet aims to connect students studying animation and visual effects and encourage them to take part in case studies, panel discussions, seminars, workshops, and other interesting events.
Students can also engage with media professionals and get a close-up look at their work during the event.

NATIONAL STUDENTS’ MEET – 2019
For MAAC students, the National Students’ Meet (NSM) has developed into a top learning environment over time. Renowned industry speakers and studio specialists participate in the event annually to impart their expertise on best practices and industry trends. This year was no different, providing a wealth of information and insights.
Similar to past years, NSM 2019 brought together students studying media and entertainment from all around the nation, this time in Goa. Participants took part in panel discussions, case studies, industry interface sessions, and workshops for creative development. Team-building exercises were also included in the event, and knowledgeable sessions were led by professionals from top studios including Technicolor and DNeg.
A thorough platform for networking and collaboration with business executives was made available to the students. They acquired important practical expertise and knowledge in the domains of visual effects, animation, and gaming.
